Depends. Where are you? In some states, 15. most now have the graduated license in effect. Definitely by age 18, unrestricted if you pass the written and road test.

In the US, you normally have to be sixteen, but you can get a farmer's license at fifteen, with which you can drive a certain distance from the farm on farm business. You could also get a medical license at fifteen, if you are the only one able to drive and there is someone in your home who needs medicine often, and then you can only drive to pick up medicines.

i was 15 to get a permit and 16 i got my license after i held my permit for 6 months then again it all depends on which state you live in i live in west virginia so that is when mine took place

If you tell us what state you live in then it would get oyu a real true answer......... in TX for example you can get a hardship license at the age of 16.....otherwise it's 18 these days.........the laws vary from state to state...please revise your question__________
