It could be many different things. One of the most common causes being stress. Stress alone accounts for over half of the gastric problems most people experience in there lives. Other things including food allergies, IBS, and other medical conditions such as reactions to gluten are known to make people suffer immense pain, bloating and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. My advice would be to see a doctor who specializes in gastric conditions. It could be nothing or it could be something serious. And don't forget just because you don't feel stressed doesn't mean your body or your subconscience isn't reacting to outside conditions.

Hi My name is Mark from Montreal.Havingnbeen seriously ill a few years ago I have done alot of research on health issues.Your bloating is mainly caused by an inbalance in youracid/ alkaline levels which could be caused by parasites in any of your internal systems. We all have parasites but what we eat, irregular bowl movements can lead to bloating.I`m a associate for a co. called Isagenix whoase products can offer you high quality benefits for your discomfort.I know!!All their prodcuts are herbal based.I give you the website: www.marcnorris.isagenix.com
pleae check it out and send me a courriel if I can be of further assistance (marknor59@hotmail.com) Make it a great day Mark

Sorry to say, it's not something you can make go away until your period is over. I sometimes will gain 5 pounds in water weight that I lose as soon as my period is over. I hate it but that's one of the things we as women have to go through. Wish the guys could have the babies sometimes, but we know they couldn't handle the pain.

Salt and water retention is most likely the cause. Drink more water and excercise so that the kidneys can flush it off.

it'snot unusual to be bloated around the time of your period.
try upping your water intake. that should get rid of it.
