That's cool! I've 'met' and shot the bull with Rich Little and Wayne Gretzky, and the wife had a similar encounter, although no card games, with Lee Marvin.

I haven't really met any celebrities, other than asking them to sign stuff like a poster. I've "met" Gallagher, Building 429, Three Men and A Tenor, Phil Ritchie (Rockstar Supernova) and a few others.

Years ago, I was living in the Valley, in a suburb where there were supposed to be LOTS of celebrities. We'd lived there two weeks, and hadn't met ANY, so I said to my husband that I'd like to see one. A few minutes later I had to go to the manager's apartment, and as I was walking by the pool, George Maharis (star of Route 66) was walking by in the other direction. My jaw dropped. The next day, an older woman introduced herself to me and said she had been his secretary while filming that show, and he had been visiting her ... then she asked if my husband and I played Hearts, because they wanted another 'couple' to play Hearts with every Tuesday. We didn't play Hearts, but did learn by the next Tuesday, and played with them every Tuesday for the next 6 months. And that was just the beginning...
I literally ran into 'The Captain' from Gilligan's Island with my cart at the grocery store and made friends with him ... we shopped together with his cart behind mine for the next six months.
George Maharis took us to a party one weekend ... at Rock Hudson's house, so he also became a friend. Then, about two years later, at a 4th of July party, I met the 'secretary' on Beverly Hillbillies. They were all 'just people' and that's what we 'did' with them ... be 'just friends.' So... I didn't 'meet' or 'work with' any celebrities ... just 'knew them' as people.

I worked in a nightclub where I've met John Goodman. He was really amazing because he's not at all like "Dan Conner". That was kind of a let down.

I've worked with Joanne Woodward & Laura Linney when I was younger.

Hey, beleive me or not. I've got no real reason to lie about it - it's not like they're 'now' celebrities.
