My Mom. She'd been sick for years. I wasn't at the hospital when she died. I was home taking care of the younger kids. Its always bugged me that I didn't get to go there very often because I was "too young to understand" but I "had to be a big boy and take care of the little ones".
On the other hand I was the only one there when Dad died. Funny how life works out.

Yes. It is hard to say when a person might leave the world. Here today gone tomorrow. That was the way it was.My step dad and I got into an argument. We went to bed that way.Well I figured we could talk in the morning. It was to late he was gone.I'll never forge that day.I wish things could have been different.Never go to bed mad always make up.This was a hard lesson to learn.

Yes, too many...but then again...even one is too many.

Most recently, my sister-in-law. She was my brother's wife, my nieces mother and my best friend! She was taken too young, too soon, right when her pre-teen daughters needed a mom the most, she gave me back my brother whom I had not spoken to for three years before they got married, she kept him sane and motivated and was my travel buddy.
