In what ways are English people different from Irish people? Looks? Temperment? Likes? Dislikes?

It's so various per person (everyone is unique, remember?) that you can't tell. Stereo-typically however, Irish are portrayed as more violent, drunken, etc while English are portrayed as silly posh older people with nothing better to do than drink tea and have tea parties. Realistically I don't know, other than that the Irish are more likely to dislike the English and vice-versa.

Irish here, and never seen such crap answers on this. The different between the English and the Irish is (1) Irish are Celts the English are Anglo Saxton. Two the Irish have a language called Gaelic. Three there huge different in religion. The Irish are easy going. More laid back while the English are more stiff uppper lips etc.

Lookswise not much of a difference. Temperment we are calmer and more relaxed than the English, the English are more highly strung than Irish. And for the poster that said Irish were Violent and Drunk, you are a class one idiot. that is extremely offensive, we are less violent than America, the UK, nearly every country.

As for alcohol, we consume alot of it but it is always in merriment and hardly leads to violence. We are not saints, but at least we don't start wars across the globe or spy on our citizens. Your comment is the most offensive I have seen on here towards a group of people.

English, "I say, lets prance about like nancy-boys and have a spot of tea."
