I would say about a 9. My lifelong enthusiasm with learning can be attributed to a strong curiosity and a very analytical mind. I was one of the few people in modern times to attend school for the sake of learning, rather than to get a degree and a career. Learning for the sake of learning is enough for me.

Yahoo Answers has been a very intriguing place for me to learn about other people, their viewpoints and insights, as well as their boiling points and capacity for hate. I'm unsure how fairly representative the Yahoo Answers population of users is as a cross section of the world, but it seems we have all kinds here, and I welcome that sort of diversity and cultural pluralism.

10 - I am an insatiable knowledge seeker.

Yahoo Answers helps in three ways:

1. It makes me do research on things I already know but about which I wish to be fully accurate.

2. For things I don't know the answer to, I read the answers and also do research.

3. I learn more and more about what people know and don't know and how online interactions bring out certain good and too many bad qualities in folk.
