If you are referring to changing the rules so next year teams in similar situations could play then I say oh yes!
If you are referring to having them play this year as some sort of last chance for a team people think deserves it then I say he!! no.
Why should they get a shot at Florida. They beat the teams they were supposed to and now get to go home as champion.
BTW I am not a Florida fan in fact I hate them from the Spurrier days just in case people think I am just bias

yes...it would be an incredible game between USC and Florida. D-1A should start having playoffs for the championship that wa deserving teams like Boise State, LSU, and USC get a chance. Ohio State was absolutely horrible against Florida if there was a playoff would have been eliminated earlier and the two teams playing would make it a good game. Ohio Stat is also just stupid because they injured one of their most important players by celebrating a TD. That is pathetic. The game I would most want to see would probly be LSU and Florida. It would be a tight game

No not really.
College football is dragged out way too long as it is.
USC shouldn't play Florida because well lets face it they lost to Oregon St and UCLA. Two losses to two little better than average teams. Had close calls with Arizona St, Washington, and Washington St.
And there is no way I would watch Florida play Boise State. That game would have been way overmatched by Florida.
Plus why does everyone say how horrible Ohio State is? I didn't hear that much controversy when USC demolished Oklahoma a couple years back.
Florida played a good game against a lazy and horribly coached team that day. Allowing that much room for receives is ridiculous, giving up an inside route for seven yards in front of your linebackers is unbelievable, and letting Tebow run up the gut time after time for four to five yards a carry is unintelligent.
Florida is the national champ.
USC lost two games.
Boise state went undefeated.
Thats all there is too it.

Rather see USC play Florida then Boise State. I don't think Boise State gets as lucky against Florida.

I agree with Chris above my answer. Why should USC get a chance, they lost two games to average teams. Boise State went undefeated, even after all the critisism and doubt that they would be able to hang with Oklahoma. A playoff system is badly needed, but I am sick of hearing that USC deserved a shot. Tell them not to choke and lose to UCLA and they would've gotten their chance. Congrats to Florida, who obviously was a better team than Ohio State on Monday, January 8th.

They're looking into two possibilities for a change to the system. One being they would seed the top four in the final regular season BCS poll and that would have Pitted OSU against LSU and Michigan againt Florida. Quite possibly, it would have ended up being Fla against OSU anyway.... Possibly withy the same ending. Another option would be to go back to the traditional bowls and select the top two from the final poll. OSU would have played in the Rose Bowl against USC. Florida would have played Louisville, Oklahoma against Boise St and Michigan against LSU. My GUESS, USC, Florida, LSU and Boise St. would have all won, probably resulting in a two-loss USC against one loss Florida in the National championship. I think those options would have been more interesting though.

The way College football has its national title game picked is hog wash. It does not work. Boise State finished undefeated. how many teams did that this year? None beside them. Is it fair to leave the National title game up to humans and computers that don't play is not right. What it needs is a playoff. that would get rid of all the arguments on who should of gone and who should not have gone to the national title game. Boise state deserved at least an oppertunity to prove their deservence.

The Florida Gators are Champions. Woohoo. Florida played 14 games this year (13-1). The other teams only played 13 games. Florida deserves the championship. They are the best this year.

yes...usc-florida would be a great game. and i think boise st would pull some tricks out of their sleeves to even make a game with them competitive....there's no quit in the little guys!

I would love to see USC play the Gators. It would have to be a better game than the Ohio State one!!
