does anyone out constantly think about what happens like 5 sec's before death?

Not really the 5 seconds before death, but death itself. It is lifes greatest mystery. I hope its just sweet, sweet oblivion. I fear that we may have to do this all over again. Aaaaarrrggghhhh.

In many cases, your consciousness shuts itself off before you die so that it is less painful for you.
which would help me lots, cuz i'm bad with pain!

i mostly think about what comes after death, not right before it.
i am worried that it will be an end to consciousness, worse than just pitch black, a nothingness.
