Clotting is normal and common when you have long cycles. As long as none of the clots are larger than a golf ball you are just fine and normal.

I am no expert on female menstration, but I would recommend you see your gyno asap. Irregular bleeding could be a sign of endometriosis or something else that could impair your fertility or ability to carry a baby. If you are serious about TTC, you should be highly involved with your gyno to make sure everything is normal.

I just watched on Oprah yesterday a show about women's health. They said clotting may be a sign of fibroids (not bad). Definitely go to your gyno ASAP though!

That would be a period... You'll have clots with periods, but they shouldnt be bigger than a half dollar.
Your periods can change their schedules, show up earlier or later, especially since you're irregular to start with.

Clotting is normal especially if you period was delayed at all. Unless you start having severe cramps I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Definitely talk to your gyno. Could very well be a miscarriage.
