I am thinking of buying the PSP but I was wondering are they making the ps3 games for the PSP...

No PS3 games will be on the PSP. The PSP's hardware is far inferior to that of a PS3. It isn't to say PSP doesn't have good games, like the GTA stories series, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Portable Ops, and an upcoming Devil May Cry game.
