Hello again. I am about 3 months along and have had some cramping, a little bit of lower back pain on my right side, I spotted a few times in my early weeks and now I'm spotting a little. Is that normal? Also, I haven't really been wanting to eat anything. Food right now just doesn't sound good at all. Is that normal too? This is our first baby and my husband and I have been trying for a year and I really don't want anything to go wrong. Please help me out guys! I hope to hear from you all soon. Thanks!

I would be a little concerned about spotting when you're three months along. I think you should call your doctor and tell him what's going on and see if he thinks you should come in. Just to be safe. Congrats and Good Luck!

Period like cramping is normal, spotting is also normal. Back pain is also normal. Put them all together and you have a pretty normal feeling for early pregnancy. But, all these things should still be brought to the attention of your care giver, so they can see how they apply to you and your own personal pregnancy.

Not wanting to eat is also normal. You still need to whether you feel like it or not. Try ensure, or something like that.

Cramping, and spotting is very normal. Especially when its your first pregnancy. Remeber your body is growing in ways it hasn't before. I cramped and bled when I was about 4 months with my first son, on and off till 6 months. Just call your doctor if you are really worried. It'll all work out.
Our appetites change in soooo many ways when we are pregnant, and foods that we hated, we all of a sudden like. As well as foods we did like, we dont. And smells Oooooh my!! lol Its all normal. Every bit of it. So, dont stress!

bleeding is not a good sign and I would go to the doctor right away. If you have been trying for a year you do not want to chance it for anything. And even though i have known a few women who have bleed during their pregnancy and were fine... but they went to a doc... i wouldn't want you to lose your baby so i would go to the doc if i were you... and eating is a big issue.. your baby needs everything right now so not eating is bad... they say anything is good.. a cracker or two but to eat atleast every 2-3 hours so you baby will get his/her nutrients. Prenatal vitamins don't solve all problems with that. So whether you feel like it or not i would eat very lightly if you have to but frequently to be healthy.

The food part seems normal if you are not really feeling well, but the spotting is a question you should be asking your doctor, not us

You really need to have that checked out! Spotting isn't always a problem, but since your having cramps and back pain you need to see your OBGYN.

I've always heard that spotting can go either way. When my mom was pregnant with me she spotted. But when she was pregnant right before me, she spotted and ended up losing it. That's probally something you should ask you doctor.

YOU REALLY SHOULD CALL OR GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. I'M SURE OTHERS ON HERE WILL GIVE GOOD ANSWERS AS TO WHAT IS GOING ON, BUT YOU SHOULD ONLY CONSIDER WHAT THAT DOCTOR TELLS YOU, HE/SHE KNOWS BEST.

CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK!
