Besides the argument that it's her body, that may be the case but the fetus developing into a human baby is not HER body it is the fetuses body. If it's a case of rape, incest or medical condition, the truth is that they are in the small numbers, most of the abortions are not rape, incest or medical condition related. We are talking logically here so do not include religion in this, but what gives a woman the right to abort a child when it is not a case of incest, rape or medical condition?

Pro-abortioners will tell you a fetus is nothing more than a cancerous tumor. There is no changing their views, I gave up a long time ago.

The key words that you stated above are
UNLESS its Incest, Rape or Medical Condition then its OK.
You know I feel that it is not right for a woman or young lady to get an Abortion because she feels she might have made a huge mistake. Its not the babies fault now is it ? This is a losing battle at the meantime, Woman still say well its my body I can do what I want with it, I know a girl who has had 3 Abortions and 2 of them her mother took her. Makes me totally sick and I truly feel if you spread your damn legs out of pleasure then BOTH Participating parties should be held responsible for that baby.
I'll bet if more Young girls who had gotten pregnant who were under the legal sex age, if their parents were going to have to be held legally responcible for their kids actions then I'll bet more young kids today would have their azzes beat and wouldnt be having sex.
I have 2 daughters and I'll tell you right now, My daughters respect me and have been taught to respect themselfs. My oldest being 13 I can say this much and she knows it, I love her more then anything but if she Even thought of having sex befor she heads off to collage It would be the last thing she ever did.

I don't get how you can say it's not her body?? It's IN her body isn't it? Do you know the number or rape or incest cases? Do you know the actual figures?? It's a woman's choice because she has to carry the baby for 9 months! How many single teenage mothers do you know? Um I know a lot! And you know why that is? Because the men who impregnate them up and leave after they satisfied themselves. But yet that woman should now take on the responsibilities of being both parents? Women choose to get abortions for many many many reasons, not JUST incest and rape. And since it's their life and their choice, you have NO right to judge!

Let me ask you...what gives the United States and State Governments the right to kill people that have committed crimes? If the governments can kill a person who actually lived a life and is still living...why can't a woman abort an unborn fetus? And why are people so interested in that woman's decision to abort the fetus? This world is about to suffer from overpopulation and the effects those many people have on the environment. Do you really think bringing more children into the world is going to help it?

Where do rights come from? If humans give other humans the rights, then nothing is sacred. Everything would be ok. I give you the right to do anything, hows that?
Perhaps all the people that have a hard time with family matters really want to avoid the fact that God (Jesus for justdave) tells us to spread his word. So I guess we really are Gods messengers huh? Killing another human being is wrong. Remember abortionists support letting a baby be almost born then killing the baby by sticking a sharp object in the back of the neck or head. Oh wait a minute, that might be because the mental state of the mother is bad! Now that ambiotic fluid stem cells may be as good or better than embryonic stem cells, abortionist still advise no we need the stem cells from fetus's. There is big money in aborting babies. Perhaps we are aborting the very people who will grow up and cure the diseases we are trying to cure with stem cell research. Duhhhhhhhhh

The only thing that "gives her the right" is Roe v. Wade. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: both sides LIED. The abortionists lied about the numbers of women having abortions, they lied about the numbers of women killed in home abortions. The pro-lifers lied about the numbers of women killed in abortion "hospitals", and a handful of other reasons were lied about. The truth is, we should redo. Roe v. Wade, and start from scratch. "Roe" was really two women, neither of whom had an abortion! Since this is the reason women have the "right" to destroy "their" bodies, we should re-examine it. The "fetus" has it's own dna, it's own blood, it's own beating heart. That's what should be logically considered. After the second trimester, many babies can survive outside the womb. It would be a struggle, but it's possible. Why do a few hours matter in a personhood? When a MA woman shot herself in the stomach as she was going into labor, she could not be charged with murder because of the abortion laws. Yet last month a Missouri woman was charged with involuntary manslaughter because her drinking led to the death of her newborn. It doesn't make sense. Scott Peterson was convicted for double homicide, but women abort their babies every day. Where is the logic there?

What gives us the right to abort paracites from our bodies? I am not stating that babies and tape worms are the same thing; I am asking a rhetorical question. What gives a teenage boy the right to lie to a girl to have sex with her and then dump her once he finds out she is pregnant? What gives you the right to feel so offended by abortion but not other senseless killing like that goes on everyday in the world all over the place? Is it a womans choice for an abortion just like it is a soldier's choice to go to war? I think that maybe if there is more to one story, that there is more to another, and not everything can be broken down into yes or no perfect simple answers and equations. The fact is, the world's population is already causing starvation in parts of the world and if it came down to you starving and a teenage girl aborting a baby I think you wouldnt mind as much. But, of course, everyone wants to pursue something they deem noble...

If a mother decides at an early stage to forgoe having an undeveloped child, then that is her decision to take out a group of cells growing in her. If the fetus is still within the first trimester, it is not a living being and a mother should have the right to choose to abort the fetus.
What arguments are there against a woman's right to choose? Religion free of course.

I agree with your argument! Although I'm not sure why women do it. Personally I feel they believe it could be a good solution as a birth control method. This should not be used as birth control. There are several avenues to prevent pregnancy without killing a child.
Also, many people feel they aren't ready to have a child because they are not in a committed relationship, unable to take care of themselves, or still kids themselves. If that is the case, don't have sex, you aren't ready to face the consequences and responsibilities of being an adult.
*after thought* If a couple is trying to have a baby and they find out it has some type of disability, not life-threatening, instead of aborting consider putting the child up for a adoption. Many people want children who are unable to have any of their own would be happy and willing to adopt. I would be happy to adopt a baby with dwarfism, even though physically I cannot have a child of my own.

Abortion is a made up political issue. It's used as a litmus test by BOTH factions (conservative and liberal) to test the religious waters of potential candidates and appointees. This is because it is unconstitutional to require a religious test for national office, therefore the abortion issue is the religious test by proxy. Regardless of how you or I feel about it, abortion is a personal issue, between a woman, God, her doctor and the father of that baby. No one else has any business getting in the middle of it.

The same thing that gives the right to ask this question. It's your mouth, your brain, your desicion to say what you want. It's in a women's body a child develops, it her right to do what she wants with her body. How it is different if it is rape or incest, a fetus is still being aborted either way. Pro choice
