Holds more what? You shouldn't buy diapers based on how much crap and pissz it can hold. You should be changing your bub's diapers right when it is needed. Not waiting to see how much it can "hold".
Just kiddin, anyways. I like Pampers. They are softer and easier on their bottoms.

I like Pampers Swaddlers or Huggies Supreme for Newborn-Size 2 and for Size 3 and 4 Pampers Baby Dry has stretchy sides and Pampers Cruisers are also very good. Pampers and Huggies Supreme are very good and Huggies Baby Shaped is ok.

Ive tried huggies pampers parents choice and white cloud. I have a son and the huggies by far are the worst. Everytime he pissed it came thru. Huggies run bigger in size also then the others. I currently think that pampers are great if u want to pay the price or go to parents choice or white cloud. Also stay away from targets brand. They suck for boys.

It depends on the stage your child is in---I found when she was a newborn Pampers were better and as she got older---huggies. I'm assuming you want to hold more pee in the diaper for overnight and are looking for the best overnight protection. You should change your child's diapers every 2-3 hours and right away when there's poo to minimize diaper rash and other skin irritations. Once of the reasons why I have liked Huggies is that the perfume that Pampers put in their diapers was pretty overwhelming and to me smelled like poo even when she hadn't pooed (weird). I've since switched to Seventh Generation diapers and have liked them best overall. The other thing you can do is double up the diapers overnight if you have a heavy wetter. I think that Huggies and Pampers are about the same in terms of absorbancy and things like the actual construction--like leg bands became a discerning factor. The leg gathers should be snug to hold in those blowouts! Huggies seem pretty good for thin kids and Pampers--for babies in the higher weight bracket. But it all comes down to personal preference and trial and error, unfortunately.
ETA--I agree with the previous poster, Mark---cloth diapers are awesome and they are definitely leaps and bounds over the diapers your Grandma used to use. I would add that you could try a pocket diaper (Fuzzibunz are my favorite) for night-time--they're user friendly--you snap them up and don't have to worry about pins or diaper covers-- and you can add extra absorbency as needed. I doubled up and even tripled up the filler for my daughter and they really kept her dry and rash free. The reason why I stopped is that when she reached the toddler stage is there was decidedly more to deal with and laundering my own dipes got to be too much of a hassle--her new daycare provideder did an about face on me and refused to use them. I am a working mom and it was easier to not fight it (my bad). But--for my next kid I plan to exclusivley cloth diaper for the first year at least. I was one of those who said eeeewww at clother diaperig but when she got a bad rash that was the only thing that made it better. They're just so much better for your baby's skin--not to mention the environment (but don't get me started on that). Good Luck! .

I've tried both with my 7mth old and I prefer Pampers. Not because they hold more (I think they hold about the same) but because Huggies seem more prone to leakage. My son likes to roll over and sleep on his stomach and every brand except for Pampers would stretch out of shape and leak by his tummy.

I've never had much luck with Huggies, so I would say Pampers. However, Luvs is cheaper than both Huggies and Pampers and works just as well if not better.

I prefer pampers swaddlers ( softer ) up to size 2...huggies seem to leak for my son. I think it is different for each baby. My sister in law swears by luvs ( made by pampers ) - planning to try those when he is out of the swaddlers

A good cotton prefold cloth diaper holds more. We've been using cloth on my daugher since she was born and with a good cover they NEVER leak. At night we use a cloth absorbent liner in the diaper and she's good through the night.
They will feel wet on the inside, however my daughter never had diaper rash at all until she was about 6 months old. And only then it was because she would poo in her diaper before falling asleep for a nap and then sleep in it. For the most part diaper rashes are a rare, almost non-existent thing for our daughter.
Another benefit is because she feels wet, she knows when she pees and since about 5 months has been able to mostly poo in the potty and pees whenever we put her on the potty.
We've saved a fortune and I would recommend them for many more reasons as well. At first my wife was hesitant too, but now she wouldn't think about disposables again. I can certainly give more information about what I would recommend to buy if you would like to know.
