India is truely a Multicultural Country compared to any other country in the world. Largely a Hindu region, with a Muslim President and a Sikh Prime Minister. The communal tollerance is the best of all the countries.

To name some major religions in Inda,

Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddists, Jains.... Apart from them there are too many tiny religions there.

About Languages, there are nearly 40 major Languages and over 200 minor Languages.

About Dressing and Food Culture, it is countless and specific to the domains and not specific to the religion.

Regarding Economy, it is totally a mixed Economy. Richies equally survive with the poors who earn less than 2 to 3 USD per day.

Orthodox Hindus and Muslims dont even think of Alcoholic Drinks, while India is one of the largest consumer of Alcoholic Drinks. Orthodox Hindus still remain pure vegetarians.

India has more beleives and ofcourse non-beleivers too.

Indusrially, Agriculture is predominant with other revenues like Forestry, Industrial Production, Automobile, textile, Engineering Products, etc. Still the other big side is hospitality services and software industries booming the Indian Economy.

On the Geography, it has green and sandy coastal lines, Hills and plains, Rain Forests and Deserts...... No more to explain how the geography cultivates different cultures.

Live it to know more of India. Enjoy the mix of colours in hormony.

If you're asking this and you are in Briatin at the moment it would show Britain as a Multicultured country. I can think of certain villages in Britain that are mono cultured, but I can't think of a county or city that is entirely full of mono cultured English people. I can't think of any country that is mono cultured, so really every country is multy cultured.
