The best gift for valentines day is something from the heart, whether it is bought or made. Something which means something to the person you are giving it to. Something which is a loving expression. It could be a diamond or a feather. It could cost a million dollars or nothing at all. I think it depends on what matters most to that person. My kids used to make me the most precious valentines when they were little and I TREASURED them. Doesn't have to be expensive or store-bought. Just something made or bought with LOVE!!!

Something that is very personal to both of them. This would have more meaning than some shiny gift. The memory will last longer if it is personal. My anniversary is the same day. It works for me!

Something romantic - like a rose - or better yet something romantic that shows that he KNOWS me (like a bouquet of my favorite flower, a date doing something I love, etc.)
