Can anyone suggest a team nearby that isn't made up of pretentious whiners and primadonnas. I want to puke when I see or hear their local commercials or billboards. Does anyone else despise their home team? Hopefully in some 96 hours this will be a mute point for another 8 months!

Well if you want a team that isn't made up of pretentious whiners and primadonnas, you'd have to leave the professional level all together, and choose a college or high school team. At the professional level, their salary is based upon their performance, so if they don't do well, they have to complain and prove that "it wasn't their fault"...college fb is more enjoyable to watch anyways, so I would suggest doing that.

Why do you hate the Indianapolis Colts? The Indianapolis Colts are a first class team and organization. There are no more whiners on the Colts than on any other team in the National Football League. If you could name off any big whiners on the Indianapolis Colts, I would like to hear their names.
On offense, the Colts have Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne on offense. All of these individuals are modest and do not believe in celebrating touchdown dances. They are first class and all they do is execute.
Defensively, the Colts have Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Bob Sanders and other players who prefer that their play on the field dictate what people think of them rather than their mouth. Like all teams, they celebrate when they make big plays, and I am lost when you say that they are made up of whiners and primadonnas. That statement is completely false. If you want to root for the Cincinnati Bengals, than go ahead, but you'll be rooting for a whole team of jailbirds.
What is there not to like about the Indianapolis Colts?

Dont feel bad. I hate the colts too. However I'm not from Indy. Technically in Oklahoma we dont have a home team but most of the people here are Kansas City or Dallas fans and I despise both of those teams. I have been a Charger fan since I was born. My family is from San Diego so I have never rooted for another team even when we were as bad a the Radiers are this year. you can root for the Chargers if you want. I dont care if you "jump on the band wagon" but you could always root for the bears or the packers or the lions since they are in the area that you live in. But just cuz you live there doesnt mean you have to like the team. You can root for anyone you want. And Im sure they are gonna get beat so you wont have to worry about it for long and you can enjoy their defeat.

The Indianapolis Colts are cool even if or not they seem to be a branch rival of my crew (Houston Texans). the purely crew that I "hate" is The Dallas Cowboys. They suck from the owner on down. The Colts might want to apply a uniform over haul, it is uncomplicated and basically gruesome.

Big whoop! Why should any of us care if you hate your home town team or not? This barely even registers as a question! You want another team to cheer for? Jump on the Cowgirls bandwagon like everyone else did before their mediocre qb botched their chance at a SB!

What? You don't like seeing cars driving around with horseshoe flags whipping in the wind? It could be worse--I remember when they first came to Indy--My dad remodeled Ursay's house after he had a stroke. Now HE was a prima donna, always threatening Indy that if we didn't dance when he said dance, he'd move the Colts again. Personally, I'm backing the Ravens.
