General James Wolfe (2nd January, 1727 – 13th September, 1759) was a British military officer, became famous, as Major-General Wolfe, for the capture of Quebec on the Plains of Abraham but was remembered mainly for his role in establishing British rule in present-day Canada. He died on the Plains of Abraham in the hour of victory.
