i know i have recently asked this question, but after reading another stupid question i have to ask this again.
why must black people be called animals and low life, and apes, and all kind of degrading stuff like that. that is really horrible for people to just make fun of another race just because they really don't know them. i have heard of white people saying they have been called crackers and stuff like that but i personally have never heard a black person talk bad about a white person to degrade them. if any thing we talk about how unfair they are to black people as a whole and how they judge us instead of getting to know us. i like having discussions as such but i love PEOPLE.
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT COLOR YOU ARE, AS LONG AS YOUR BLOOD IS RED!

Honestly, people of all races can have prejudices. I once overhead a Black guy and two Hispanics talk bad things about Asians. I once read a question posted by a Black guy, complaining about Whites. Ignorance breeds hatred.

Technically, we are all black, as the original genetic codes of the human race were discovered to have originated in Africa! Sadly, prejudice works both ways. I know a white woman who babysat regularly, sometimes for free, for this educated, professional black couple. One day after leaving a message on her answering machine, they neglected to completely hang up the telephone receiver, and it continued recording. She came to me crying that she heard them call her a white b----h even though she was nothing less than genrous, kind, and loving to both the couple and their children. I told her to call back, press the play button, and leave the message back to them on their answering machine. They called her back apologizing profusely, claiming they didn't really mean it. She graciously accepted their apology, but never babysat for them again, and replaced their timeslot with other white and black customers. Talking about how unfair "they" are to black people "as a whole", and how "they" judge "us", is actually a form of prejudice. By speaking for all black people as "we", and referring to all white people as "they", it groups both black and white individuals into diametrically opposed races-- which is degrading to both. If you don't want to be characterized because of other negative individuals who share your racial background, you need to stop characterizing all white people because of other negative white people. You are unconsciously sending out negative feelings about white people which is coming back to you from negative white people. The end of racial intolerence starts with the individual-- you. A measure of an individual is the sum total of their past actions, their character, not their ethnic or religious descent. Again, genetically, we are all brothers and sisters. Free your mind, and the rest will follow.

People who degrade others for the color of their skin have very low self-esteem. They must attempt to make someone else look negative so they think they are better than someone at least. Tis sad.

People are just plain ignorant. We will never get away from that, but we all can stand up for what is right. That's a start.
