i wanted to walk down the isle to "From this Moment" by shania twain. My mom and future mom both think i should stick with the traditional wedding song. I dont know if it would be kind of innappropriate. Its not a huge deal to me either way but i just want some advice. It is my first wedding and im just 21 =)

Get the music to the song without the words and that will solve both your problems. Walk down the aisle to whatever you want but doing it the way I suggested will make it a very beautiful walk down the aisle.

Save "From This Moment" for one of the dances with your husband. It's really not appropriate for walking down the aisle. Of course, it's your wedding, so you really can do whatever you want. Just keep in mind, unless you've got a REALLY long aisle to walk down, you're either going to have to just pick part of the song or start it then stop it, or stand there with your fiance for however long it takes for the song to finish once you get down the aisle.

You could walk down the aisle to the traditional song, and then at the reception, you could have your first dance as a married couple to "From This Moment On"...

Processional to walk down, recessional to leave. Why don't you use that song for your dance at the reception? If you use the Shania song for the wedding, what are you going to use for the reception?
