The probability of life on another planet is extremely high, see Drake's Equation. I wonder, however, why SETI has not picked up any radio wave or light wave from any source, does that mean we're alone. It took us roughly 200 years to reach the level of technology to reach into space, you'd think other life forms would've had plenty of time to do the same.
I can't wait for "first contact."

According to my astronomy class from a few years ago, astronomers believe there is life on Mars & Venus, but they are the microscopic kind that live far underground & that current Earth life wouldn't last very long at all on either planet due to different environments than Earth's.

Yes. There are potently an infinite number of planets. There for the probability is high that there is other life in the universe. There is a greater potential for microbial life than there is for intelligent life. However the limitations of space travel greatly reduce the probability that we will ever find other intelligent life.

This universe is one of billions out there in a space undefined by modern science with a start and end point in which we cant determine.
Yes there has to be other life out there. Even if it is just the starts of life or plants it still is amazing once you comprehend just how friggin huge reality is.

Its a matter of probability. I think it is fair to assume there is life somewhere other than earth because of the immense size of the universe. obviously we are a long way from conclusively stating there is life, but as mathematicians we can only assume the possibility.

Of course. God has populated many worlds. lol.
Back to reality. There has to be. There is too much space out there for there not to be something else. Whether it fits our definition of life or not is another question. But there is certainly some other forms of "life" out there. We will probably never see them, but they are there.

Yes I believe that there is life out there other than on earth because the universe is vast and there must be at least one other planet that can suport life.

I believe that it would be arrogant to beleive that we are the only world out there with life on it. I also think that the Bible tells us that we are not alone. For example, "God so loved this world". Because it says "this", not the "only" world. That leads me to believe that there is more than one.

it would be ignorant to think that we're the only intelligent life in the galaxy, that's just like sticking your head in the sand and thinking that if you can't see it then it doesn't exist.
