Sam: how is this NOT a valid question?

It is made to attract the sense of smell but the taste is not so fooled. It begins to scream to please not digest this material. However we manage to defeat our body's warnings and swallow it. From there the stomach is stunned that no amount of acid can cut this stuff apart. So it passes it on to the intestines. The intestines are dumbfounded that no nutritional value can be found in any of it. Yet the fat like a trojan horse sends and army to attack the body. By the time the food has made it to be disposed the damage has been done. Your body cries out to please not do that again but our personality says, boy that double-cheesburger sure does smell good and only a buck.

Probably because they are cooking all of the meat out of their sandwiches. The meat cooking smells great, but by the time you get it there is nothing left but the soy by-products.

The fries are actually frozen colored cardboard, but the salt makes them taste pretty good, as salt does on just about anything.

The only things that are pretty good are that new crunch wrap, and the fruit and yogurt parfait. And you notice that they only have the snack size of that now. People were complaining that it made them fat.....Fact.

Actually, smell and taste go together. Our olfactory organ combines taste equally with smell. This is why food does not taste as good when your nose is stuffed up. As for McDonald's, the salads are pretty good, but their cheeseburgers are at least one third fat. Stick with Subway sandwiches. A big mac may smell like roses, but there are a few thorns that go with it.

It could be relative. Maybe it only smells good because all of the people that eat there are overweight and smell bad from too much grease in their diet?

McDonald's food is good. Wendy's on the other hand, fails and making food fit for human consumption. I hate Wendy's so much...

Just like Burger King -- it's the grease you are smelling. It triggers something in us and we think it smells good.
