It could certainly help, but not always. For example, frankgmar--
the spell check accepted "there" as a valid spelling of a word, but doesn't check grammar. He meant "their." Sometimes if the question or answer is long, the little thingee (it won't accept THAT word!) just keeps spinning & spinning & I give up. When I have time, I try to check myself. It won't accept my spelling of "humour" either--although the spelling is proper. You can almost be sure that people who use "u" for "you," "ur" for "your", "ppl" for "people" aren't really concerned about spelling anyway. (I'm not sure "what" they're concerned about!!)

Funny - you probably did use your spellcheck, but failed to read your own question!
Offed is a word...just not the one you apparently meant to use, I guess!

cause i'm lazy and don't really care about spelling, unless you can't understand what people are trying to say, that's pretty annoying. we're also microwave children, so we don't want to spend a few seconds waiting for it to check our spelling.

laziness, or they just don't care. I'm sure one of those options is there reason why you didn't use it to make the question, you misspelled offered ;-)

hhmmm... I think answering this question would involve some inquiry within yourself, seeing as you don't appear to have used it.

Because sometimes you just want to answer as fast as you can and you forget! Just as it happened to you with your question, you see?

I would guess the same reason you don't... because I believe you meant to say "OFFERED"?
