23, and not yet. But I'm starting to get there. I'd like to think that this universe is just some sort of waiting room for another universe, one where we have different experiences and different views. Not so much reincarnation as much as more life. Hell, half the times I'm not even in this universe. I'm just a friendly visitor trying to find his way home... at least, that's what I feel like. I've had this before, this existential blockage; a search for validation and truth and a meaning. But I will say this: it is much easier just to get into the passenger seat and go along for the ride than to actually try to navigate your way through. You'll never have any idea where Life can take you, but if you just sit back and relax, you'll have an idea where your life is actually going. Don't turn to God (unless that's your thing), don't rely on society for answers. In the long run, this universe is all about you and nobody else. You're the star in your own movie. Just make sure you have a great ending to a great story.

First, I will want to state that I believe we are all here for a purpose! Every thing in nature has a purpose. The sun has its purpose, the minutest fin of a fish does, and even your nails do have a purpose! There is no happenstance in nature. Every designer or manufacturer has a purpose for the design and features in his products. Even the seemingly useless parts are there to make other parts function properly…or at least for beauty. So, THERE IS A REASON WHY YOU ARE HERE. The fact that you do not know why you are here yet does not mean you are here for no reason. We are not just chemically-controlled, impulse-oriented bunch of atoms with no use and purposes, neither are we here just to pass time. You are here for a purpose! People who believe they are here for a reason have changed the course of history, and have made the world either better for it or worse off. They are the ones we read about in history. They could as well have believed they have got no use here and just mark time; be born, go to school, work on a job 40 hours a week, birth others, and die with no mark whatsoever. Someone thought part of his purpose here was to make computers more user-friendly and to save us from DOS, and see what we have got today…WINDOWS. This is no coincidence, he could have cared less.
Anyway, at 25, it is about time to know why you are here. I do believe you are here for a reason. I may not be able to tell you why you have been put here, but I DO KNOW WHY I AM HERE. The correct purpose of anything can be found in the mind of the manufacturer, or the owner’s manual! The best place to find out is from your creator…GOD! Whether you believe God exits or not is another thing entirely, and that is another question for someone to ask. Dare to ask God for the reason why He has put you here and I am certain He’d give you the right answer because that is the way I found mine!

After many many many many attempts in my 20s, I can tell you with 100% confidence that it will not come to you from drinking vast amounts of alcohol. After awhile, you'll learn most of the fun in life is trying to find out your purpose, the rest of the fun is from pizza. Be warned, that it is entirely possible that your purpose in life is to serve as a negative example to others, or to become fossil fuel for some future civilization millions of years from now.

a lifetime on earth is viewed by some as an ongoing initiation process. we are supposed to be becoming more conscious as we "progress" thus facilitating our becoming more loving and kind, notwithstanding the numerous "horrors" we all, inevitably, experience, personally or at a distance. on the way we learn to take things less personally, and to connect more closely with the "higher levels" of who we are. this is helped by experiencing the benefits of meditation and other energy practices such as yoga, chi kung, etc. it is the ""energy" generated by these practices that actually helps to "attune" us to the more "advanced" ways of being, resting on heartcenteredness, and operating far less from our egos, and far more from our "souls".

I, along with everything else in this world, am the result of billions of minute chemical, physical and electrical reactions ranging from planets being created from dust to the minute electrical relations deep inside my brain that form the basis of human thought. Although from our minds we come up with fate, creation stories, and "reasons", they are really just attempts to come to terms with the fact that, as conciousness itself is an accident, so reason is completely accidental, there is no such thing as a "reason" to exist. Things just are, and if the complex chemical reactions in your brain agree with me then that is the way that they are meant to be.
