That's probably around the right amount. It varies per child. I'm not sure about the reflux just call the doctors office and you should be able to ask the nurse. My sonn also started eating baby fruit in the jar at about 4 months. Then you can just start introducing other things.

15 weeks is a little early for solid foods, even cereal. If you must give him cereal I would only do a tablespoon or two a day, in the mornings after a breast/bottle feeding. Start with runny rice cereal for a few days, then try runny oatmeal or barley for a few days. Rice cereal tends to constipate them, oatmeal and barley have fiber so it goes though them better. Just keep an eye on the bowel movements, if they become hard, black or red I would discontinue the cereal and talk to his doctor again, those are signs that the baby's digestive system cannot yet handle solid foods.

Whatever fills him up is normal. I put a small amout of rice cereal in my son's bottle, and then ran a needle through the nipple so he could get to it. I didn't bowl feed him until 4 1/2 months. We did it twice a day at first.
what you're doing sounds fine, and if he's happy, that's proof right there.
as they get a little older, doctors recommend that you alternate meals between cereal and bottle, starting off the day with his normal bottle, and then a bowl of cereal a couple hours later, and then finishing with a bottle.

15 week - that's how many months? Remind, please, why do we count in weeks after the baby is 4 weeks old? Is that the same reason why some moms count in months after their children are 3 and 4 years old? (E.g., "My child is 35 and a half months old".)
That's as early as anyone should start solids. See the link for age-by-age feeding in detail, it also lists the amount they are supposed to eat. Keep in mind, however, that all babies are different, so variations are allowed.

Mix it into the formula, around 1 scoop per bottle. Give him whatever he will eat. If he will eat 6 spoonfuls, great. If he wants 10, great. Your son will let you know what he wants and needs.
