Patiently because just reading that one sentance, it sounds like the customers were ignoring her and she was waiting for a response or some aknowledgement.

well, put attentively in there and it sounds like a good waiter. Checking on drinks and stuff... making sure they were enjoying it.
Put Patiently in there and it sounds like he was just kinda waiting for them to leave.
Insert Drastically it sounds like he was Super Waiter wearing a friken cape and stuff hovering over them
Intimately sounds like he was grabbing them inappropriately or walking tight circles around that one table as they were eating their meal...
The one that makes the most sense to me is D. Attentively. Final answer.

C. Patiently - a waiter is supposed to wait on you, hence the need for patience when dealing with customers.

Attentively; they were in a James Bond movie and the "waiter" was a double agent undercover!

Patiently or Attentively. The others do not make sense in the context of the sentence. I'd personally say patiently.

Attentively because he was not patient. He has other customers, and he was just doing his job.
