With my first pegnancy they didn't mention my uterus was tipped and so the doctor thinks it happened after I gave birth to my son. I have heared of having a tipped uterus to the back but never one that is tipped to the left. I was woundering if and what complications can happen because when I asked my doctor he was not clear but wanted an ultrasound asap. Should I be worried about misscarring?

My uterus is also tipped to the left and back. I had a great pregnancy and a beautiful healthy baby boy. I understand your concern and I hope your Dr. can be more clear with you in the future...this is an important thing, if you don't like the lack of information or communication I would suggest switching Dr.'s. Try not to stress yourself out...that's not good for the baby either.

Good luck and congratulations on the baby!!

No 75%of women has one. I have one. It come from having sex , When a person has sex the man Punch on it and cause it to tip like that. It is not any thing to worry about.

No risks, it will straighten as your pregnancy progresses. It just may be more difficult to find a heartbeat at the dr's office at first

The biggest concern is the placement of the placenta.
