Is BBC a free media, or reflecting the continuation of British conolization?

BBC called the obviosly persian scholar, Avicenna, "an arabic scientist"! I think even our arab friends never like to do this with iranian civilization! so what is BBC looking for?! I just can associate it, with old britain empire policy: " cause tribal and ethnical argument among other nations, and govern them much easier". what's your idea?

Maybe it was just the ignorance of one journalist?
