It is common to feel the baby move sooner with subsequent pregnancies. Also, if you are a thin person it is very normal to feel baby moving by now. The odds of twins is in no way determined by the father--it ONLY runs via the mother's genes.

I'm 14 weeks, 2 days pregnant right now. This is also my third child but I haven't felt anything. Could be because I'm bigger though. Makes sense if you have more blub, you wouldn't feel the baby as soon. Tee hee.

Not sure if you're having twins, don't know the "genetics" to that. You should have seen the dr. by now. If you were having twins, you'd think he'd feel your uterus would be bigger and order an ultrasound right away. I say that b/c I measured bigger on Tues and my dr. immediately ordered an ultrasound. Only 1 in there though. PHEEU. My baby is 7 months old. I'll have two under 13 months. Good thing my #1 is almost 15 years old and LOVES babies.

With my second pregnancy I felt my daughter moving around way earlier that I felt my son....I think Iwas about 13-14 weeks pregnant...because there wasnt a long gap in between having my two the Doctor said that my abdominal walls were weakened and tthats probably why I could feel it a lot earlier. Also as for the twin pregancy...YES, YES, YES, its possible that you could be having two if Twins run in the family!! Goodluck x

Each Pregnancy is different. I felt my first child move when I was 20 weeks along, my second was at 18 weeks, and my third was 14 weeks. I think by the time the third pregnancy we just know what to except and we feels things alot sooner.

I've read on several pregnancy websites that with second and third pregnancies you may feel the baby move sooner. Only because you've gone through it before and recognize what it is.

Yes they say that every pregnancy you can feel it earlier because you know what to expect so maybe you didnt notice it before and yes you could have twins its very possible.

i started feeling my baby moving at 16 weeks w/ my second pregnancy, the twin thing is determined by how many eggs the woman releases or if she has the "twin" gene, the male does NOT determine how many babies there will be in one pregnancy

Well yes it might be possible because your husband carries the "twin gene" anyway. Try to have a scan, it would be better.

Good Luck :-)

Twins aren't genetic (unfortunately.. I really want twins). It's possible to feel movement at 15 weeks, especially since it's your third- you are more likely to know what you are feeling.
