Honestly...soap and warm water. You could also change your underwear to 100% cotton, which lets your skin breathe better. Other materials can tend to be too constricting and keep odor and bacteria inside. If that doesn't work check with your doctor. But make sure you're not mistakeing natural vagina odor as something wrong.
Good luck!

You need to find the cause of the odor before you worry about what to do to cover it up. If it is a real bad smell even after you take a shower you need to go to the doctor because it could be a bad infection and you will need medicine to clear it up. If it is a odor caused from sex you should think twice on the douche, the first time is strange but it can make a big difference in how you smell and how you feel. If it is just a normal smell their are female wipes and sprays at wal mart that you could use.

Sweetie, first you need to find the cause of this odor before you actually treat it.It could be an infection of another sort, not necessarily a yeast infection.Make sure you go to your gyno,or find one in your area and make an appt to get this checked. The vagina has a natural "odor" or "scent" it shouldnt be a horrid smell however if you are uncomfortable with it,you should try some feminine sprays or powders. That area is full of bacteria, and anything added to that can cause more bacteria. When there is something present that throws of the natural bacteria of the vagina you tend to get infections.Make sure you go get it checked out,if everything ok simply by some feminine sprays and/or powders. You are right douching is not wise,it throws off that natural balance of bacteria i mentioned above.Your best bet would be feminine sprays.Good luck hun,and have a good day.

Ummm, odors ARE normal--but it depends on what kind. Food can very much effect the way your bodily functions smell. If the smell has recently changed, see if there is a correlating change in your diet. Supposedly sweet things (ie. strawberries) will "sweeten" your smells.
It also may be the type of environment you're in and the type of clothing that you wear. If it is hot and humid all the time, you're definitely going to be stronger than if you were in a dry, cooler place. Also, you may want to look into different underwear that may not trap things as well.

I would use feminine wipes and powder. I would take showers twice a day too. Don't use an anti-bacterial soap on your vaginal area. They can cause irritation and that could cause odor too. Try Dove. I love it!

Go to your doctor/NP. He/she can make slides from vaginal secretions to look at under the microscope and probably give you an answer in a matter of minutes! Please do not try to treat something that has not been diagnosed! :-)
