Trig is a mathematical science that describes geometric figures.

Physics is a mathematical explanation for the behavior of objects.

Calculus is another mathematical branch. It is very strongly tied to physics.

I'd recommend doing Trig first, then depending on how hard the physics was, when I'd do that. I had non-calculus physics in high school - which is like swimming with water wings, but college physics required a fair bit of math as a pre-requisite.

Also engineering physics I think you need to maintain a higher GPA like a 3.6 and above, well thats how it is in my university. But as far as careers, I don't know. They are different classes once you get in the higher level courses too. LIke the other person said more specifics are required.

Trigonometry is the math of right triangles; physics is the mathematical science of the world around us and calculus is the math of physics dealing with rates of change, areas under curves, lengths of curves etc. What you study depends on what your educational goals are. You can't study physics without the first two.
