NTLDR problem?

ok so sometimes when my computer starts up it says NTLDR is missing,press any key to restart but when you press a key the message appears again.what is NTLDR and where can i find it?

pop in the windows disc choos the repair option after you type in the administrator password type chkdsk /r it takes about an hour
