The man's REAL name was a bit boring, I agree......Arnold George Dorsey...but still........why didn't he change it to "Johnny Libido" or "Frankie the Schlong" or something cool like that?

There already were recording artists called Dorsey and Englebert Humperdink was a name nobody would forget once heard and the guy could sing so it helped in his success.Dicky Valentine was another artist whose real name was normal enough and i'm not sure if Percy Sledge was his real name but i doubt it
