Only the worthy can lift Thor's hammer and use it's powers. In the Marvel Universe Captain America once held the hammer. Who in the DC Universe could (BTW Superman could briefly in the JLA/Avengers cross over) I say Nightwing but can't think of any one else

As Wonder Woman mentioned during one of the crossovers, “If HE be worthy”…? SHE was able to lift it!

And Storm was able to wield a similar enchanted hammer, made for her by Loki, at one time. (I still think that she and Thor should have got together, but maybe he was just a little reluctant to go for her- it’s that pasty white long-winter Scandinavian thing.) So I think Storm could wield it (I know you didn’t ask about other Marvel characters, but I thought I’d too her in free.)

I think that Captain Marvel (the Shazam one, not the Kree one) could wield Mjolnir. The powers are those he was granted by the old wizard, but the purity to be able to use the powers without being corrupted by them (as Black Adam was, when he first appeared) is all Billy’s own.

Sonny Sumo, who was the first human to learn the Anti-Life Equation that Darkseid was searching for, and yet was not corrupted by it, and kept the secret all the days of his life, would be worthy. (He appeared in the original Forever People series, in the 70’s.)

I think Pa Kent would be worthy. Parenting is the hardest job in the world, and not for cowards, yet he accepted a child from outer space, who might have been taken by the government and (for all Jonathan and Martha knew) thrown the Kents in jail for ‘national security’ reasons. Martha would be worthy, as well.

Wildfire of the Legion of Super Heroes would be worthy. He sacrificed his life to save Colossal Boy after the Legion had rejected his membership application! He didn’t know he would come back, at the time.

All these are worthy because of their moral purity, not because they are already so tough and strong, or because they talk big, or because they have a father who’s a norse god.

Great Question - huge comic book geek here.

In the DC Universe, other than Superman, I can't think of anyone for sure, but there are some possibilities:

Martian Manhunter - not being from Earth, he may be able to figure a way to absorb the abilities and hold it briefly.

Flash - possibly speed up his molecular rate to the point where holding it would be possible.

Green Lantern - the Ring of Oa is so powerful that I would give whatever incarnation Green Lantern a fighting chance.

In one of the Marvel/DC crossovers Wonder Woman picked up the Hammer. It changed her in to a Goddess. As I recal Captain Marvel aka Shazam could not lift it.

Steel and Martian Manhunter probably could. They are both worthy on all levels.........

Booster Gold, Wonder Woman and Zatanna definetly could NOT, they are way too self absorbed and that kind of power would be more than they could handle......

Green Lantern and Hawkman are possibilities.

PS: NOTHING that happened during the Amalgam should ever be considered as realistically plausible in the normal storyline......

This includes Wonder Woman picking up the hammer. Sorries.

in the past they had stated that one had to be worthy AND possess sufficient super strength to lift the hammer... so if they depicted captain america with the hammer, they contradicted themselves... i will base my answer on the way it should be though...

superman, of course...
captain marvel
wonder woman

i'll have to give this some more thought...

DC has no gods. On top of that, I think all the DC guys have too many human flaws to handle it.
