After playing for 40 minutes or more....... The pivoting causes my socks to rub against my feet and blister the skin and tear it a little. What can I do to solve this problem.

Wear tighter socks and use baby powder before you put them on to dry your feet.

Try socks that aren't 100% cotton. Socks made by Nike or Under Armour that wick sweat away and don't hold all the moisture in cause less blisters. If the problem is really bad, orthodics in your shoes to evenly distribute your weight could help.

One way is to turn the sock inside out so the smooth side is against the skin... also use petroleum jelly and apply it to the irritated area before putting your socks on.
