There is no easy way to locate any musical instrument which is suitable for your needs without actually playing that particular musical instrument. Those of us who have played for years can walk into any music store anywhere in the country and find something that interests us. If you do not play the guitar yet, then it is a lot harder to find something that is suitable for your level. Unfortunately, there are a lot of charlatans who take advantage of people who are not well-versed in music. The safest approach is going to a reputable music store (or their website) and asking what they have available for sale. The riskiest approach is going to flea markets and pawn shops (or their websites) and seeing if they have anything for sale. I have a thirty-eight year old guitar which I bought at a local music store that I still play (plus an eighty year old violin and a twenty-seven year old french horn). Therefore, make sure that you take the time to shop around and get something that you will still enjoy playing thirty-eight from now.
