......someone when they KNOW they will cheat?
Example: A married man has an affair. He gets a divorce, and the person he was cheating with marries him, although she KNOWS he will cheat and will not honor his wedding vows.
I see it all the time....but don't understand it.......any ideas?

This is why the person marries a KNOWN cheater...... they think that they will not cheat on them. They think "he/she loves me and I know that they will not cheat on me". "I know how to handle my business and that's why I have him/her." But what they forget is "IF THEY WILL CHEAT WITH YOU, THEY WILL CHEAT ON YOU".

For some reason, many people assume that even though things are this or that way at the moment, they will change in the future. It couldn't be further from the truth, from my experience - there is no miraculous mechanism by which "change" comes about. Maybe *some* people really do accept the fact that their chosen person will betray them, and are ok with it - but I think most just falsely assume that whatever went on in the past will *poof* disappear, and they will live happily ever after with a changed man/woman.

There are alot of people who are afraid of being alone and will settle for any situation. Some are desperate and others don't care if they break up relationships. Some are crazy enough to believe that a person can promis them the world. People have all kinds of reasons but if you peel away the layers you will find the right answer.

I think some women feel like the guy will change once they are with them but that isn't the case because if they cheat on their first spouse they are definitely going to cheat on the other person.

That's one of the mysteries of the universe. Alot of people think they can change a person. They think they are special and different. The people that were cheating complained about their marriages. The other people involved think they're different and because of that, they won't get cheated on. It proves love is blind.

My husband's first wife cheated on him with his best friend, who was cheating on HIS wife or g/f at the time, so it was a 2-cheater hookup. We're both waiting for the time that we hear through the grapevine (same social circles) that they broke up because one of them cheated on the other with someone new. "What, you didn't see that coming???!"

I don't get it either. My best friend has been with her boyfriend for 20+ years. He has been married three times. My friend has been the one of the ones he cheated on all of his wives with. Now, he is divorced yet again, living with my friend and she doesn't get the fact that he cheated on all of his wives and is still planning a wedding. Umm, hello!

Because there in lust (not love) with a sneaky snake who plays the game well. So well that they can be easily deceived and lied to all the time, With blinders on they get caught in a trap of a fantasy world and think people can change people and don't want to admit to themselves it could happen to them. There desperate people.....

The woman he cheated with is no better than he is if she knew he was married. In my opinion they deservs each other and will probably both be unfaihful.

Because love, as they say is blind. Can't see the woods for the trees. I agree with you wholeheartedly, once a cheat, always a cheat.
