Well, his performance is more of a credit to Urban Meyer and the defense. Between the team speed, and preying on OSUs tendencies, Florida should get credit for the success, more than Smith's failure.
Russell may pass him on the draft board, but he won't slide too far.
I don't think I would want him on my favorite team. He isn't overwhelming in any one area. He isn't cerebral like a Carson Palmer, or a Jay Cutler. The legs are not Vick or Young. The arm is not Marino or Elway.
I think he'll be just a guy, probably a journeyman, ala John Kitna. Most Heisman Trophy winner QBs go on to mediocrity in the NFL, in my opinion more often because their success was derived from better teams.

He's not going to drop that far, there's about 5 teams that need a QB, and I'll take Troy Smith over Aaron Brooks and David Carr any day.

Had Troy Smith been the reason OSU lost, then he'd definitely drop way down, but his O-line looked like they lost all ability to block a smaller, much faster Florida D-line. He feel, but not far. Late first, early 2nd. He'll still be behind Brady Quinn.

At this point in time, I'd take John Beck from BYU over Troy Smith. He was the best QB in college football that you probably haven't heard of. He had a solid career, with an excellent Senior year. Check his numbers. He'll be a sleeper come draft day.

Raiders wont get him. He was second round for a heimsman? After that poor performance against florida dont be surprised if he mid 2nd round. If anything push come to shove cleveland might pick him. He's to short.Theyre are better qbs than him in the draft.

Troy smith will be a late 1st round the nfl is loaded with alot of awful quarterbacks. Despite this performance I believe he will be better than quinn and possibly better than russell. He is just as quick as mcnabb and more accurate at the college level than mcnabb and there are short quaterbacks that were good. Brees is only 5'11.

I dont think Oakland will draft him with the first pick. I hope we trade the pick away or draft russell like ive been hearing. Russell is a much stronger and better QB

He will not be drafted at all.
I don't understand how this guy won the Heisman.
Even the Raiders know to steer clear of this guy.
