They are both a democracy with cultures in similarity.

Take a look at the back of a one dollar bill. On the right hand side above the eagle you will see a starburst with 13 stars within the holy shakina! What a trip, the Holy Shakina is on the one dollar bill and the 13 stars also represents the original 13 colonies. How strange is that?

In God we trust, so does Israel, how else do you explain the complete and total victory of the yom kippur war and the six day war? Yah, I would have to say their was divine intervention.
