Obviously she doesn't want to join a junior team. Are there any adult clubs that allow for learners? We live in Milton Keynes, England. She is tall although not particularly fit, and having just watched our daughter play realises that it is a great and enjoyable way to get fit.

I am a professional player/coach and could provide you with some basketball work outs, what level is she hoping to play at and how long per day could she give to these work outs?
You mentioned your daughter playing, so your wife will have access to a basketball?

I've replied to your message. Hope it helps.

I'm certain there are clubs, good luck to her. Go to your Citizens Advice Bureau, they're really helpful there, they practically cancelled years worth of debt for me and stopped me from being evicted in the space of half an hour once! The know everything.

why dont you play with her.y'know, just u n her playing together.no need to be in club or whatever if u want to stay fit.it's not like she want to be involved in tournaments or something.that way, you get to spend quality time together with her.surely she'll be appreciating you supporting her and be with her.
