Janet, go to your local library and ask to look at the Electoral Roll for 1943. They may have it there, or they may send you to the main library, either way, they will have it. You will find everyone of voting age, including lodgers and servants, but not including children. However, during WW2, the Electoral Rolls were not as accurate as normal, people were a bit busy with the war and everything. My Dad died in 1946 but was not removed from the Roll till 1950 !
