Heading out of town for a guy's weekend soon with 5 friends and I'm looking for some ideas for some new poker games to play. We'll be trapped in an icehouse for 3 days straight, so there will be a lot of drinking and card playing (with a little fishing mixed in too). We're getting somewhat bored with our standard assortment of Texas Hold'em, In-between, Guts, and 7-card stud. There has got to be a ton of other fun variations out there - any suggestions? We also try to mix in some team cribbage, so any good team games would also be helpful. Thanks!

You could have a blackjack tournament... (you'd need chips though, don't know if you'll have them). Everyone starts out with the same number of chips and someone (who wouldn't pay the entry fee) acts as the dealer (make sure to leave plenty of leftover chips after the buy-in). Then you play blackjack, tournament style... see www.ubt.com for more details. Button has to act first, and everyone bets after the button and everyone tries to beat the dealer. Usually play 3 times how many people you have so 18 hands total. Winner takes all.

BlackJack is a good one. There are a couple different variations of poker you might research. One is called "five-card draw", the other is called "seven card stud".

indian poker. you deal out one card. you dont look at your card. you put it on your forehead and everyone says whether or not they think are higher or lower than everyone else. its fun because you have to figure it out based on what everyone else says. have fun:)
