1 3/4 is the same as 7/4. In fractions, reciprocal just means "flip it over" 7/4 becomes 4/7.

First thing you do is put 1 3/4 into a mixed number 4*1=4..then 4+3=7...the mixed number is 7/4....switch the numbers to 4/7..that is the reciprocal
