torso twist!!! what u do is stand up straight in one place, and put your hands on your hips. turn around as far back as you can without moving your hips.... switch side quickly and fast... go from side to side) they hurt but they work.... in addition to crunches

Torso twists don't seem like much when you're doing them. But they really pull in your waist and abdomen muscles.
Try crunches three times a day. Divide your daily total into three sets at different times of the day. That really boosts the results.
If you loose a couple of pounds, provided you have an extra couple, it will make your abs more pronounced.
