Track. For practice we were supposed to run the perimeter of town. I went to the bowling alley and ate candy and drank pop, then went back to the field in an hour. Needless to say, in spite of weighing 104 pounds, I couldn't run very friggin far on meet day. So I just quit. lol.

This was 1973; things were't too organized for females then.

Basketball. I played one season, but only made it to the court like, two times. I think the problem was that:
A: I was like 4'6" when everybody else was like 5' tall.
B: I really had no interest in basketball, nor had I ever watched a full game.
and C: I hate running! Softball...now that's my sport. Run a little, rest. Run a little more, rest. That's what I'm talking about!

Basketball. I had played football for 3 years, and I couldn't get used to the lack of contact in basketball. I would constantly foul out, in the 1st or 2nd quarter. I went back to playing football

I will take a direct quote from my basketball coach in 7th and 8th grades - he said I was "too much of a lady on the court." I always sat the bench...in softball and volleyball too. I've never been the sporty type.

Nope, I'm very talented in that area. Especially hockey, running, tennis, and soccer. The sport I had most difficult with was baseball.

I was always good at everything but soccer and basketball........

Soccer - was afraid of getting kicked, so I ran AWAY from the ball!

Basketball - I was only 4' 11" until I was 16

swimming.
I tried it, but I just couldn't do it. I don't know why. I ran out of breath so fast and my arms are too short as well as my legs (I'm only 5' 2)
But I found I kicked major *** at Volleyball so I was happy with that ;)

How about you??

I actually was in fencing for a while... not that I failed miserably, but there was a guy who had HORRIBLE technique but he would kick all our asses cuz we couldn't defend against a wildly flailing sabre.

Every time I've tried tennis the ball ended up three miles away.
