it is so easy to complain and want out of a relationship, but then the next day the relationship appears to be better. so we forgive and forget it. we do fear the future with someone else, changes in our life, and most of the time it's because under all the layers we have built around us to protect us, we really do love that person alot and want to work it out, we never do know when to give up, as it is hard to give up on someone, especially if we love them. no one wants to give up on something we have so much invested in, as we don't know if we gave up on it, if that would actually really make us happy or not. so we stay one more day and hope that things will get better.

Probably because stepping out into the unknown is scary...

You don't know how your sig. other will respond, you don't know if you'll really be better off, you think of how your friends/family will respond, etc.

Kind of a pleasure/pain factor... you think it will cause more pain or won't give you enough pleasure to leave, and that it is less painful to stay. In brief, you aren't as motivated to leave as you are to stay, even though you aren't entirely happy staying.

Geez... I"ve rambled on enough! LOL...

usually it can be because of lack of money to leave. It's also self esteem issues. We that say we want to leave but don't, don't have a big enough ego. Sometimes it's easier for us to stay and keep having ourselves feel so worthless, than to do anything about it.

Because people vent and sometimes say things to make themselves feel better but when it comes down to the action, they realize that its not the thing they want/need to do. Talk is easy!

because you know it's gonna hurt both of you when you leave and you have to deal with the crying and begging and you have to try to stand your ground with it and say NO. No matter what your feelings are for a person, it is still a littel heartbreaking to leavi someone.

It's like a "friends" episode i watched, rachel left ross because she was mad at him, not because she stopped loving him. when you're really ready to leave someone, u will and u won't look back.

Guilt, familiarity, fear of unknown, "need," etc...
