Is it okay that blood is spurting out of my mouth, or should I be dialing 911 right now?

Rinse the area with hydrogen peroxide for a few days. Don't swallow the peroxide rinse. Just swish it around to help clean. Keep an eye on it for infection and at the first sign of extra redness see your dentist.
IMPORTANT: There are a few small arteries at the roof of your mouth. If the blood is actually spurting, with the beat of your heart, you need to call 911 NOW! Apply pressure to stop the bleeding.

Ouch! Now, try to keep the habanero dip away from your eyes, cause habanero in your eyes will definitely add another level to the pain :)
