Get a professional to take shots of you to make a portfolio. you'd probably need at least 5-10 good photos, and if you've done any work before then include those in the portfolio too.
when you've got a decent portfolio, start looking out for auditions! take anything you can get (within reason of course!) at first, to build up experience and get more for your portfolio, then you can start picking and choosing.

Go on some crap reality show, get them out and your off to stardom, like the rest of the so called models/celebs.

First of all you have be good looking, and most of time be a certain height and weight that qualifies, you get some photographs done of you that look a bit professional put them up on the internet send them to agencies as well as set yourself up for auditions. You also have to eat right.

well if your a small town girl like i am...i just went to the mall one day looking for the perfect sweater..and out of the blue i went past a station where i can sign up to try to be a model...so just go to local stores and malls...your time will come...and if all comes to all get an agent..
