In July 2006 I handed in a RE assesment, in which I tried for the highest level, level 8. I gave up lunches and much time after school to complete. After summer term holiday, I went back to my teacher and asked for it back with the mark. My teacher said she sent it to County Hall to be marked by the RE coordinator as she cannot mark levels that high.
Since then, I still have not received it, now 6 months on.On one occasion, she told me I got a "definitly" got a level 7.
Since then, she kept saying "we havn't received it yet" or "I've asked someone to contact them", all of the time.
Today, I was told I got a level 6 by the head of RE, and to "stop looking into the past and concentrate on Year 11".
I think it was lost, but they won't say it.
I wouldn't want to see it this desperatly if I hadn't put so much time and effort into it.
All I want is it back. What can I do? What are the next steps?
Contact County Hall to see if they received it?
Can someone advise?

Tell your teacher that you will contact County Hall if it is not retrieved within 2 weeks.Your enthusiam should not be treated so casually. It is refreshing that you put so much energy into your studies. After 2 weeks, inform teacher and Principal and get your Guardian to contact County Hall. The work is technically your property and should be available if a re~mark is requested.Good Luck

Get one of your parents to contact the RE co-ordinator at county hall (though it sounds iffy to me) giving all the facts.. Did you keep a copy of it either on disc or a photocopy? this might help. But don't accpet being fobbed off . if you got a level 6 you want to see the proof anyway.
