I believe that some steel beams softened under the heat and then bent, or broke, due to load, and that fasteners softened and failed, but I dont believe that steel was actually *flowing* during the incendiary.

Pics I seen of the WTC rubble show bent beams but I've never seen "puddles" where molten steel cooled like lava.

Softening steel with even orange heat is enough to weaken it to the point where it could have failed.
