My first love is it a wrong choice?

Question

I am: 30 years old - from Lebanon AND my friend is: 38 - from UK. And we do have different religion but we do like each other. But He wants to jump to a physical relation without really improving other sides in that relation like our love & friendship ….
I tried to stop this relation but it is not working will I am really afraid that he will pull me to x and that is not allowed in our family.
What to do I know he have no problem for it and he is putting too much effort on that “does not seems respecting much our traditions”

Don't compromise your ideals if they are important to you. Explain how this makes you feel. If your friend does not respect your wishes, he is not really your friend.
